Flavour N’abania In Trouble As Ghanaian Duo Wutah Takes Him To Court Over “Kwarikwa”

Ghanaian artiste duo “Wutah” are set to take Nigerian artiste Flavour N’abania to court over his hit song “Kwarikwa”. Flavour who recently dropped the remix of “Kwarikwa” which features Congo artiste Fally Ipupa and has been getting serious buzz on radio stations, video and blogs and this might have gotten to the management of Wutah.

According to Wutah’s Manager and Judge Cletus in Ghana, tFlavour stole the sax intro and some lyrics of the “kwarikwa” hits from their own song “Kotosa”. Wutah’s ‘Kotosa’ was one of the popular songs in the late 2008 and was one of the most played Hi-Life songs that year. It gave the duo much recognition and even won them a deal with Globacom as a brand ambassador. The Wutah’s song was produced by Appietus while Flavour’s “Kwarikwa” was released in 2011 (June) and produced by Masterkraft.

All effort to contact Flavour or his management has not been successful so far but be sure to get the detail of the case and responds from Flavour as soon as we get it.
